Unsend a Sent Email in Your Gmail Account

Every day we are using gmail for sending and receiving emails, but normally we are not fully aware with the features of gmail, it gives us a lot of user friendly features and we can use those features as per our requirements, We have already discussed some features of gmail like Recover Lost Password of Your Gmail Id and How we Trace IP Address of An Email Sender in Gmail, 

but today I am going to explain one more feature of gmail which is how we can "Unsend the sent email in your gmail account", sometimes we compose an email and send it to any person, but suddenly within a second we found that we send the email to the wrong address or may be sent button is clicked accidentally, know what we do if we are facing this problem, to avoid such type of situation we have to do some settings in our gmail account.

To undo the sent email in gmail you have to login into your account and go to setting under the General Tab, scroll down you will find an option "Undo Send", select this option, when you check this check box a drop down list is enable in front of this option from the drop down list you can select 5,10,20,30 second, it means you can unsend your sent email only within these seconds after these seconds you are not able to undo your sent email, here minimum second is 5 and maximum second is 30, I suggest you to select 30 seconds so that you have time to think.

Now drag your page down at the end you find a button "Safe Changes" click on this button to save changes made by you. Now compose a new email and sent it to any email id, when you click on send button a message flash on the top as shown below, if you want to undo the send email then just click on undo link within the selected time frame.
